This mesh is light and very easy to cut. It is therefore ideal for use as an RFI screen.

Pure Copper
This material is made of natural copper. We cannot claim that it is 100% copper as there will be trace amounts of other elements involved. 99.99% is as pure as you can get. As a natural copper this product will become verdigris over time. Copper is a very soft metal, so it is easy to cut and form.

Plain Weave
Plain weave woven wire cloth is used for the majority of wire cloth woven by Zhuoda. Each warp wire crosses alternately above and below every weft wire and vice versa. Warp and weft wires are normally of the same diameter. Plain weaves are used for the majority of commercial applications and for filtration where a high flow rate is required.

Availability
This roll has small fingerprints on it from the production process. This can happen with copper mesh. The prints are caused by the touch of skin, which is part of the natural process that can see copper become verdigris in time. The mesh itself is perfect, but these infrequent fingerprints mean that we can sell it at a reduced rate to our customers. We stock this mesh in huge quantities. Copper wire mesh is a plain square weave (over one, under one) wire mesh fabric. Excellent thermal and electrical conductivity and is easily soldered. Copper mesh is ductile and malleable, but not as strong as brass.

Copper Wire Mesh - Examples of Uses

• Snail control- any copper mesh may be used (selection would be based on strength and appearance). The snail receives a small but unpleasant electrical shock when it contacts copper mesh. Gardeners build small ground barrier strips or wrap stems and trunks with mesh bands. 2, 4,or 8 meshes would be a good choices for small snail fences. 22 mesh is a sturdy, easily formed mesh that wraps easily.
