Our 19g welded wire mesh is hot dipped galvanized, and is sourced from high quality manufacturers. Welded wire mesh has a square hole, which provides more structure than chicken wire netting.
This product is a lightweight welded wire mesh, which is primarily used for bird protection. This makes it the ideal choice for fruit cages, and aviaries for small birds. The mesh is also a good choice for small animal enclosures such as rabbit runs and chicken enclosures (for fox proof enclosures please select a medium-weight mesh), and for general garden use and lightweight fencing applications.
The 19 gauge wire (approx. 1mm thick) is the same as the wire used in 19g chicken wire netting, however a welded mesh has slightly more structure and rigidity than chicken wire netting. The mesh has a hot dipped galvanized finish to protect against rusting.
